How do you source and test your used parts?
We source parts from certified refurbishers, bulk corporate liquidations, and gamers upgrading their gear. Each component undergoes a rigorous 100-point testing system. CPUs are stress-tested in Prime95, GPUs undergo thermal profiling and benchmark runs in FurMark, RAM is checked using MemTest86, and motherboards are checked for visual damage, capacitors, and port integrity. Only 100% healthy components make the cut.
Is there a warranty on PCs containing used parts?
Yes, absolutely! We provide a **full 3-month PCPower Warranty** on the entire system. If any component fails under normal operation within the first 3 months, we will repair or replace the part for free, covering all shipping costs. Your peace of mind is our priority.
Which parts are new and which are used?
We believe in combining safety with maximum value. That's why high-wear items like **SSDs (storage), Power Supplies (PSUs), and PC Cases** are always **100% Brand New**. High-value silicon components like **CPUs, GPUs, Motherboards, and RAM** are sourced as **Certified Refurbished**, saving you hundreds of dollars while retaining perfect structural and computational efficiency.
Why is your building fee so low?
Traditional pre-built manufacturers inflate the cost of individual components to hide high labor costs and markups. We charge a simple, flat building fee of **£49**. Our high-volume assembly line allows us to build efficiently, test rigs in parallel, and keep margins razor-thin to prioritize gamer value and reduce electronic waste.
Can I send you my own parts to build a PC?
Currently, we only assemble systems using components from our own certified warehouse inventory. This ensures that every part is fully pre-tested and covered under our unified 3-month system warranty.
